Join Mary in this specialty class; Yoga Strong. (Formerly known as Women’s Strength and Stamina)

Yoga Strong is therapeutic by design due to its ability to improve cardiovascular and metabolic health, boost mental clarity, build lean muscle mass, and increase balance, mobility and coordination.

With regular practice, over time participants will lower baseline cortisol levels which helps improve cognitive function and hormone regulation.

Don’t let the name fool you - or rather take it seriously - because strong is what you will become! Mary's class incorporates resistance training and weight bearing exercises to address age-related muscle and bone mineral density loss which is particularly important for fall risk protection.

Classes begin powerfully with resistance training and cardio intervals to peak heart rate levels. After sweating with intention, the class moves into a cool-down stretch and restorative practice to aid the body in parasympathetic nervous system recovery.

Accessible to all levels. Exercise modifications provided.
